The Grand Challenge Scholars Program National Workshop was held on Wednesday, July 20 and Thursday July 21, 2011 at the Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. Campus in Austin, Texas. Those who attended include universities with existing Grand Challenge Scholars Programs and other universities who are interested in developing Grand Challenge Scholars Programs. The goal of the workshop was to share best practices and program models; brainstorm on strategies for addressing challenges to developing and managing a successful program; and celebrate the successes of our Grand Challenge Scholars and Grand Challenge Scholars Programs
